Princeton University – Tigers at Nassau Hall

The tiger became the mascot of Princeton University in the late nineteenth century. In 1911, the Class of 1879 donated A.P. Proctor’s bronze tigers to replace a pair of lions that had previously adorned the front steps of Nassau Hall.
